Mondays 18:30 (6:30 PM) to 20:00 (8:00 PM)
Our program generally runs on every school week
Cubs are generally youth in the range of 8-10, and we start introducing more responsibility to them.
In our weekly meetings we do games, go out in (urban) nature, and do crafts such as wood working, leather working and more. Our primary goal is of course very much to have the youth entertained, and active.
At this age we try to get into what many consider 'standard' scouting skills, building on what many youth have been exposed to in beavers. Geocaching and compass use, first aid, survival, food preparation, creating fire and other skills are represented in the form of fun games, activities and events.
We also start to introduce them into more 'advanced' adventures such as archery and axe throwing, as well as advancing them in areas such as climbing and canoeing.
When it comes to camps we have them up the tents and prepare the campsite. At this age we are more likely to go tenting even at lower (night) temperatures, though in the winter we would still sleep indoors.
